I use both ME and newer Walthers code 83 HO turnouts, which both have dead frogs.  I only needed a frog juicer for the Walthers #6 double crossovers, as the spacing of the dead frogs for a  cross over route, perfectly align with GP and F unit wheelbase.  The frog juicers work flawlessly with PSX or PSXX  circuit breakers.  You only need 2 frog juicers per crossover, wire parallel track frogs to the same juicer, since only 1 frog would be used at a time.  Ron

Just a thought, since the frog is just sitting there nominally dead, why not use it to detect a misalignment of the trailing points and correct them.
Probably won't work for Bullet Train speeds but maybe could make a difference on longer turnouts and reasonable speeds.

As long as the point throw is powered, this remains an interesting automation exercise. But for finger flick or ground throw controlled points, this obviously is not an option.
